The successful candidate will lead the Satellite Software Simulation & Testbeds team, responsible for software design, development, and sustainment for high-fidelity/hardware-in-the-loop satellite flight software testbeds and satellite simulation/digital-twin platforms for a growing portfolio of Commercial and Government satellite programs.

- Lead team to execute to baseline program scope, schedule, and cost
- Perform Cost Account Management (CAM) duties, providing status, variances analysis, risk identifications, and recovery plan when needed.
- Perform quarterly EAC analysis and update ETC, risk, assumptions list and opportunities.
- Coordinate with mission partners on content and delivery dates for the Digital Twin
- Support quarterly PMRs
- Perform quarterly PI reviews and previews to customers and internal stake holders
- Provide daily program guidance to 20+ engineers

Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in full software development life-cycle
- External candidates - must have at least five years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience).
- Internal candidates - must have at least five years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience).
- Active Secret Clearance
- This position requires an ability to obtain a final Top-Secret / SCI US Security clearance (Post-Start), for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Experience with leading/managing software teams developing high-fidelity testbeds/emulation platforms for complex space hardware systems
- Experience as a manager of > 10 direct report engineers
- Experience working with multidiscipline engineering teams (e.g., systems/test engineers, electrical engineers, software engineers) and integrating/testing software within complex systems
- Experience with the software development lifecycle process and procedures
- Experience with DevSecOps / Continuous Integration (CI) process and tooling (GitLab)
- Experience with EVMS within an Agile construct
- Experience with managing Risks, Issues, and Opportunities
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
