This individual will have extensive experience in listening to business needs and translating requirements into high-quality Salesforce solutions while also owning configuration, end-to-end testing, UAT coordination, issue resolution, and post-deployment support to ensure reliable and scalable outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Delivery, Requirements Gathering & Solution Design

  • Lead Salesforce enhancements end‑to‑end, managing timelines, priorities, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and IT to understand workflows, gather requirements, and translate needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs grounded in Salesforce best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and workflow inefficiencies and recommending automation and system enhancements.

Salesforce Configuration & Engineering Support

  • Design, configure, and maintain Salesforce solutions (objects, fields, relationships, flows, Lightning pages, reports, dashboards), ensuring strong security, data quality, and access controls.
  • Monitor platform health and integrations to troubleshoot automation failures, data issues, and user‑reported defects.
  • Maintain and update technical and support documentation.

QA, UAT, Release Readiness & Enablement

  • Lead QA and UAT planning and execution for Salesforce enhancements, partnering with IT and business stakeholders to validate solutions, manage defect triage and resolution, and obtain business sign‑off prior to production releases.
  • Develop and maintain UAT artifacts, training materials, release notes, and end‑user documentation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for post‑deployment support and troubleshooting, ensuring rapid issue resolution, feature adoption, system stabilization, and ongoing data integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field and 3+ years of Salesforce experience as an Administrator or Consultant, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Salesforce Administrator certification required; additional certifications strongly preferred (Salesforce Business Analyst and/or Sales Cloud Consultant). Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud with Omni-Channel, Lightning Experience, Flows, and complex reporting and dashboards; familiarity with LWCs, Apex, SOQL, and triggers preferred.

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, release pipelines, and source control best practices (i.e. Azure DevOps, Gearset, Git).
  • Proven ability in requirements gathering, process mapping, user story development, QA, UAT execution, and user training.
  • Experience working in Agile environments; Certified Scrum Master preferred.
  • Demonstrated ownership of projects with strong follow-through and accountability.
  • Experience with healthcare or growth-focused organizations.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills, focused on root-cause analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships across technical and business teams.
  • Highly organized and meticulous; excels at managing numerous priorities concurrently with strong attention to detail and commitment to delivery quality.
  • Able to work independently in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Upholds the Agile philosophy and maintains flexibility in a changing environment.
  • Leverages AI tools to innovate, augment productivity, improve solution quality, and accelerate delivery across analysis, configuration, testing, and documentation.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
