Overview and Responsibilities
The Pluto TV Programmatic & Partnerships Sales team is responsible for driving revenue from new and existing SSPs, DSPs and a select group of media partners. The SVP will have a dual report to the CEO of Pluto TV and the EVP Digital Sales & Strategy, and will be a crucial part of the team managing a mix of partnerships with the responsibility of securing new and existing revenue.
This is a critical role with a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Responsible for delivering against [multi-hundred million dollar] programmatic revenue budgets
- Cultivate existing programmatic & reseller partner relationships to maximize revenue opportunities
- Prospect and close new partnerships and drive predictable, scalable, and repeatable revenue from those new demand sources (SSPs, DSPs, Resellers, etc)
- Conduct QBRs and ensure Pluto TV maintains high visibility with partners
- Collaborate with Pluto TV and ViacomCBS sales leaders to sell strategically and align activities to team and company goals
- Lead cross-functional projects to unlock new programmatic revenue opportunities
- Cultivate strong relationships between partner and Pluto TV product and engineering teams to drive innovation and efficiencies in the programmatic ad stack
- Serve as an expert and evangelist on important programmatic business trends, best practices, and ad technologies
Basic Qualifications
We believe the right individual will have the following skills and experience in order to be successful in
this role:
- 15+ years of digital media experience with at least 10 years of direct experience in the programmatic media ecosystem (including exchanges, ad networks, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, trading desks, etc)
- Extensive senior-level relationships with all major programmatic players
- Track record of substantially expanding domestic and international programmatic business lines
- Deep understanding of the online advertising ecosystem including audience targeting, the programmatic landscape, and different media types with an
emphasis on Video/OTT at tech space
Additional Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience driving outcomes with programmatic ad campaign metrics and analysis
- Understanding of the technologies behind programmatic monetization
- Outstanding communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, team player with the ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audience
- Travel is a vital part of this role
