Responsibilities:
- Manage the process of sharing information pertaining to variable compensation between multiple groups in the Sales Ops, Sales, HR and Finance organizations. This includes recommending and implementing enhancements to the existing processes to provide a scalable means by which accurate data is shared in a timely and efficient manner.
- Responsible for establishing procedures to ensure Participant data is accurate and current in master files and new ICM
- Use broad guidance provided by senior management to modify and/or enhance existing plans to meet 2020 business requirements
- Generate and provide training material to department leaders providing overview of their updated plan(s). This will be used for both existing Participants and new hires.
- Establish and manage Participant training program for new ICM solution ensuring ability to track their attainment and payment information
- Perform review of existing plan issuance process for new hires and identify ways to reduce the time it takes new hires to receive their plans and for the appropriate data to be shared with dependent groups (e.g. ensuring SalesForce is updated in a timely manner)
- Partner with Finance to build out and execute the testing plan for the new Incentive Compensation Module (ICM)
- Provide payment information to Finance by defined deadlines for accrual and payroll purposes
- Investigate and resolve any variances and calculation inquiries from the field, Finance or HR, amongst others
- Assess the process by which variable compensation information is currently shared with Participants and determine best means to provide better visibility to FAQs, training documentation, miscellaneous updates, etc.
- Manage language for BlackLine Incentive Plan (BLIP) in effect for various countries. Partner with Legal to review any necessary modifications as well as the creation of any new BLIP versions due to BlackLine's employment presence expanding into new countries.
- Be the BLIP "expert" and ensure all actions and decisions are compliant with the appropriate country's BLIP.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of work experience
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Word
- Ability to follow professional and legal protocols when working with personal information that is sensitive or confidential
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel and complex spreadsheets
- Experience supporting commissions, preferably in a SAAS environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and fluid environment
- Capacity to manage and prioritize workload with minimal supervision
- Experience meeting tight deadlines where data accuracy is critical
- Experience using SalesForce.com
- Experience using an incentive compensation tool such as Xactly or Callidus
- Audit experience
