Description

First Resonance is looking for a Sales Lead to help drive our sales process, accelerate our customer acquisition process, and work with manufacturing solution engineers on customer engagements. First Resonance works with cutting-edge hardware companies building the future of transportation, energy, space travel, and more such as Joby Aviation, Astra, and Matternet. This role will work closely with First Resonance’s Founders & COO and is expected to progress into a future Head of Sales. As a fast-growth startup, you will be expected to work across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Sales

  • Own quarterly and annual revenue targets and support pipeline execution across inbound and outbound channels
  • Build the sales team from the ground up and work with company leadership to define First Resonance’s sales model and compensation packages
  • Source and manage new sales opportunities by leading our customer acquisition process end to end with support from our technical manufacturing solution engineers
  • Perform qualification calls, collect customer requirements for the product team, perform demonstrations across multiple levels of the organization to guide customers through the buying process, and help close new business

Process & Tooling

  • Build and support improved processes for prospecting, qualification, account management, and pipeline management with a product-led lens
  • Help build and manage the team’s go-to-market and sales data flow and tools to increase customer acquisition velocity and boost customer success productivity
  • Partner with company leadership, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to efficiently drive revenue

Reporting

  • Report on key product-led growth and sales KPIs to ensure the team is tracking towards quarterly and annual goals(CAC / LTV, sales velocity, internal metrics, etc.)
  • Enable better sales forecasting, pipeline, and operating cadence to facilitate resource allocation and sales priorities

Base skills

  • 5+ years of experience in sales
  • 2+ years of experience at a SaaS company
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and manage your own workflow and workload
  • Ability to thrive and navigate through ambiguity and iterations
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively - written and verbally
