Business Generalist at First Resonance
First Resonance is looking for a Business Generalist to work on strategic and technical projects across sales, marketing, operations, and product. The ideal candidate is someone who is a hustler, go-getter, and is thrilled by the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge hardware companies. You will work closely with senior leaders and engage in both commercial and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization.
As a business generalist, you will report to the COO of First Resonance and work to expand our software client base, execute on marketing projects, and facilitate day-to-day company operations. This role is uniquely positioned to understand customer needs and drive value to every function of First Resonance’s business.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, scrappy, detail-oriented, friendly, and has an ability to learn quickly. A strong interest in Industrial IoT and Industry 4.0 is preferred, along with experience with working across the sales process. The role may require some travel and you will be based in our Los Angeles headquarters.

Responsibilities / Initiatives
The Business Generalist will be responsible for sales and marketing strategy and tactical execution. This means driving driving First Resonance’s sales and marketing strategy forward through sound execution. This may include building long-term relationships with contacts at upper mid-market and enterprise companies and deeply understand their strategy and goals, executing and setting up trade shows and marketing events, or leading customer engagements to close. This role requires someone who is dynamic, willing to juggle competing priorities and willing to get his or her hands dirty with the day-to-day of a high-growth startup.
