Role Overview
InStride is looking for an experienced Academic Partnership Development Manager who wants to jump in head-first and support our Academic Partnership team to help reach InStride’s vision and mission.
This position will report to the VP of Education Partnership Development.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the VP to build processes, systems, and strategies for AP acquisition.
- Manage the vetting of learning options by internal partners, consolidating outputs into one easy to consume deliverable.
- Support VP in the construction of new partner deals to configure win-win-win partnerships, partnering closely with Finance team on modeling and growth projections
- Partner closely with the Programs & Pathways team to understand gaps in the current portfolio of learning options. Research top-quality providers with content that bridges the gap and make initial outreach to set up discovery meetings.
- Update, maintain, and publish the AP Pipeline
- Day-to-day manager of InStride’s Salesforce CRM platform for the AP team, relentlessly working to ensure the quality of data/reporting and business processes
- Work cross-functionally with Learner Success, Academic Partners, Finance, and other teams to establish, document, and improve business processes, including moving AP deals from contract to implementation smoothly.
- Build systems/processes to address inefficiencies and bottlenecks in AP acquisition and hand-off workflows.
- Provide timely support of building quality internal, executive-level presentations showing AP pipeline activity & other key business updates.
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams in the creation of assets, pitch decks, and catalogs that showcase the high-quality learning options in the InStride network.
- Collaborate with all user groups across InStride to ensure system integrations, workflow, and process successfully drive business needs
Ideal Profile
- 5+ years of professional experience with a proven track record of success
- Bachelor’s Degree from a selective college or university required
- Strong business consulting, analytical & project management skills, with a high detail orientation
- Understanding of operations systems & processes. Experience with Salesforce CRM platforms preferred
- Experience developing PowerPoint presentations with precision and high attention to detail
- Ability to consistently deliver work on time, and provide well-vetted reporting and business recommendations
- Ability to facilitate cross-organizational teamwork that drives meaningful and measurable results
- Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills

- Exposure to the functioning of higher education institutions through direct experience or deep affiliation with the education industry
