Caldera Medical’s Mission - To Improve the Quality of Life for Women!

About Caldera Medical

Caldera Medical is a women's pelvic health medical device company dedicated to improving the lives of women through innovative solutions for pelvic floor disorders. Headquartered in Westlake Village, CA, with international operations in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, Caldera combines clinical insight with engineering excellence to bring meaningful therapies to market.

The Opportunity

Caldera Medical is seeking a Sales Recruiter who brings firsthand experience to the work of building our sales organization. This role is ideal for a current or former sales rep who understands what it takes to succeed in the field and wants to apply that expertise to identifying, evaluating, and hiring top sales talent. You will own full-cycle recruiting for sales roles across the organization — from sales associates and territory reps to regional and strategic account leaders — partnering closely with sales leadership to build teams that hit quota and grow the business.

What You'll Do

• Partner with sales leadership to understand territory needs, role requirements, and hiring priorities across the sales organization.

• Own full-cycle recruiting for sales positions — intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and reference checks.

• Apply firsthand sales experience to credibly assess candidates' selling ability, quota history, and territory management.

• Build and maintain a strong, proactive pipeline of sales talent within the medical device and broader medtech community.

• Represent Caldera Medical's employer brand at sales recruiting events and through professional networks.

• Track and report recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, pipeline health, and offer-acceptance rate.

• Ensure a consistent, high-quality, and compliant candidate experience throughout the interview process.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• 3+ years of direct, quota-achieving experience in outside sales, ideally within medical device, surgical, or healthcare sales.

• Prior experience recruiting, hiring, or mentoring sales talent is a strong plus — this role is well suited to a salesperson transitioning into talent acquisition.

• Deep, firsthand understanding of the sales cycle and what distinguishes a high-performing medical device sales rep.

• Strong professional network within the medical device or medtech sales community preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Willingness to travel periodically for conferences, sales meetings, and candidate engagement.

• Recruiting experience within a similarly sized medical device or medtech company preferred.

• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems preferred.

• Working knowledge of medical device sales compensation structures, including commission and quota, is a plus.

Why This Role Matters

The strength of Caldera Medical's sales organization depends on our ability to consistently find and hire people who can win in the field. This role sits at the center of that effort — bringing an insider's credibility to every conversation with sales leadership and candidates alike, and directly shaping the team that drives our growth in the medical device market.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
