Description

Reco is looking for a highly technical, hands-on RevOps Application Manager to join our Revenue Operations team and own the systems, automation, and technical infrastructure that power our GTM organization.

This role will serve as the technical backbone of RevOps, with Salesforce at the center of our GTM ecosystem. You will partner directly with RevOps and cross-functional leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to translate business needs into scalable systems and automation.

This is not a traditional Salesforce Administrator role. We need someone who can architect, build, troubleshoot, and continuously improve our GTM systems. You should be highly proficient in Salesforce Flow and Apex, comfortable working across APIs and integrations, and capable of quickly diagnosing and fixing issues when something breaks.

You will own the technical execution of key RevOps initiatives across the revenue lifecycle from lead management and routing through pipeline, forecasting, deal desk, customer handoffs, expansion, and renewals.

Just as importantly, we want someone who proactively brings ideas to the RevOps team. You should constantly be looking for opportunities to make our systems smarter, faster, more automated, and easier for our GTM teams to use.

Our ideal person doesn't wait for a list of tickets. They understand the business problem, recommend the right solution, build it, and own it through production.

ResponsibilitiesOwn & Build the GTM Systems Architecture
  • Serve as the primary technical owner for the systems and applications supporting Reco’s GTM organization.
  • Own the day-to-day health, architecture, scalability, and ongoing development of Salesforce and the broader GTM technology stack.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated Salesforce Flows, Apex classes and triggers, validation rules, custom objects, fields, approval processes, and automation frameworks.
  • Translate RevOps strategy and complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design systems that support the full revenue lifecycle, including lead management, routing, pipeline creation, opportunity management, forecasting, deal desk, customer handoffs, expansion, and renewals.
  • Build for scale and long-term maintainability rather than relying on temporary fixes or excessive manual intervention.
Automate & Innovate
  • Proactively identify manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes across the GTM organization and develop automation to eliminate them.
  • Bring fresh ideas for automation, AI-enabled workflows, and system improvements to the RevOps team.
  • Build intelligent workflows that improve seller productivity, surface next-best actions, strengthen pipeline visibility, accelerate deals, and improve GTM execution.
  • Develop automation that embeds operational discipline and data quality directly into our systems..
  • Continuously evaluate our GTM processes and technology to identify opportunities to simplify, consolidate, automate, or redesign workflows.
  • Don't just execute requirements—recommend better solutions when you see them.
Troubleshoot & Resolve Quickly
  • Serve as the first technical point of ownership when Salesforce or other GTM systems experience issues.
  • Quickly diagnose and resolve Flow failures, Apex errors, validation issues, integration failures, permission problems, automation conflicts, and data issues.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues independently and drive them through resolution with urgency.
  • Build monitoring, alerts, fault handling, and error-management processes so issues can be identified and addressed before they materially impact the business.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes rather than repeatedly addressing symptoms.
  • Understand downstream dependencies so changes and fixes do not unintentionally disrupt other GTM workflows.
  • Maintain a highly responsive operating model for business-critical revenue systems.
Integrate & Scale
  • Build, maintain, and optimize integrations between Salesforce and Reco’s broader GTM technology stack, including HubSpot, Gong, Chili Piper, Clay, and other revenue applications.
  • Work with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, middleware, and native integrations to create reliable data flows between systems.
  • Understand how data and automation move across the GTM technology stack and proactively identify integration gaps or risks.
  • Troubleshoot synchronization and integration issues across platforms.
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders when deeper technical troubleshooting is required.
  • Help evaluate new GTM technologies and determine how they should fit into Reco’s systems architecture.
Own Development & Release Management
  • Own the technical development lifecycle from requirements gathering and solution design through build, QA, UAT, deployment, and post-release validation.
  • Maintain disciplined sandbox development and testing practices.
  • Conduct impact analysis before implementing production changes.
  • Establish scalable change-management and release-management practices.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation for critical automations, integrations, objects, workflows, and system dependencies.
  • Ensure production releases are stable, scalable, and minimally disruptive to the business.
Maintain Data & System Integrity
  • Conduct recurring audits to maintain Salesforce data quality and overall CRM hygiene.
  • Identify automation conflicts, technical debt, unused fields, broken processes, and architecture that should be simplified or redesigned.
  • Protect the integrity of pipeline, forecasting, attribution, territory, lead, opportunity, and customer data.
  • Build controls that prevent bad or incomplete data from creating downstream problems.
  • Partner with RevOps leadership to continuously improve the accuracy, reliability, and usability of GTM data.
Partner with RevOps & the Business
  • Work directly with RevOps leadership to design and implement the systems, workflows, and automation required to execute our GTM strategy.
  • Partner cross-functionally with leaders and teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and other GTM functions.
  • Understand business problems deeply enough to recommend solutions—not simply build what is requested.
  • Challenge requirements when there is a more scalable, automated, or technically sound approach.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Document new functionality, train end users, and help drive adoption.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to RevOps on GTM systems architecture, automation, and technology decisions.
Requirements
  • 4–7+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development/administration, RevOps systems, GTM systems engineering, or a similar technical role.
  • Advanced expertise with Salesforce Flow, including complex record-triggered flows, scheduled flows, subflows, fault handling, and scalable Flow architecture.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Apex, including the ability to read, troubleshoot, modify, and develop Apex classes and triggers.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including custom objects, data models, validation rules, approval processes, permissions, permission sets, sharing, and security.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot complex Salesforce production issues and quickly determine root cause.
  • Experience designing and supporting integrations using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and native connectors.
  • Experience working with GTM applications such as HubSpot, Gong, Chili Piper, Clay, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of GTM processes, including lead lifecycle management, enrichment and routing, opportunity management, pipeline, forecasting, deal desk, attribution, customer handoffs, expansion, and renewals.
  • Proficiency with SOQL and Salesforce data management tools.
  • Experience with release management, sandbox strategy, QA, UAT, and production deployments.
  • Salesforce certification is required.
  • Python, SQL, JavaScript, or additional development experience is a plus.
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience operating in environments with formal Security, IT, access-control, and change-management requirements.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS security concepts including least-privilege access, SSO, OAuth, API authentication, connected applications, service accounts, secrets/credential management, and data governance.
  • Ability to partner effectively with Security and IT teams while maintaining the speed required by a high-growth GTM organization.
  • Strong judgment around when a change can move quickly and when it requires additional security, architectural, or production review.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
