- Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation
- Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements
- Analyzes capability assessments to support production activity
- Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product processes and designs
- Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing readiness
- Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions
- Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 3+ years of experience developing/managing metrics and root cause corrective actions (RCCA)
- 3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level 3 - 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 2+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality or experience in a regulated industry
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools)
- Experience with 3D modeling software to determine product and GD&T requirements
- Systematic problem solving with root cause and corrective action experience
