Main purpose of the Quality Assurance Lead role:
The Lead is responsible for leading the daily operations of the team ensuring staffing, productivity, workload, and workflow needs are effectively managed. The role provides employee leadership, coaching, and support, coordinates cross-functional operational needs, and oversees key processes to ensure items are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.
Major Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead daily operations, including workload planning, employee assignments, workflow prioritization, and overall department execution
- Monitor employee attendance, tardiness, timecards, staffing levels, and daily warehouse headcount to maintain accurate staffing records and coverage
- Communicate employee schedules based on workload and business needs, adjusting staffing plans as necessary to support productivity and minimize overtime
- Coordinate with warehouse leadership and partner departments to address staffing needs, operational priorities, and cross-functional support requirements
- Monitor departmental communications and manage operational requests, including item transfers, pulls, discrepancies, and other department-related issues, escalating concerns when appropriate
- Oversee the liquidation, donation, and discard process, ensuring items are properly reviewed, documented, sorted, and routed according to company guidelines
- Support employee development and performance through regular coaching, feedback, monthly 1:1 meetings, 30/60/90-day evaluations, and annual performance reviews
- Coordinate donation pickups, including scheduling with charitable organizations and ensuring donations and required documentation are properly collected
- Maintain accurate employee and operational documentation, including attendance records, performance evaluations, 1:1 documentation, timecard corrections, and disposition records
- Collaborate cross-functionally with warehouse teams and leadership to resolve operational needs and support department productivity and service levels
- Assist in other areas in department as needed
Shift Available:
Mon - Fri (6am-2:30pm)
Required Competencies:

- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and meet responsibilities without constant supervision
- Knowledge of apparel construction and fabrication and various fashion categories
- Ability to work successfully with any personality type
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees of in English and Spanish
- Ability to read/write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English and Spanish
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-4 years minimum experience working in a Production/QA/QC environment or lead position preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite required
- Technical fashion knowledge preferred
- Understand and communicate effectively in English and Spanish
A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $21 to $23 per hr.
