Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

What you bring to SBHG:

  • Bachelor’s degree in child counseling, development or psychology, or related social science field, or nursing license (LVN, LPT, RN), or Six (6) or more years of QA experience in a Mental Health Agency or County Behavioral Health Program will be substituted as equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • One (1) year residential care experience or equivalent inpatient psychiatric experience required.
  • One (1) year quality assurance experience required
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • First Aid certification

How you will make a difference:

The Quality Assurance/Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for the Quality Assurance Program. The position is responsible for auditing documentation to reconcile with billing and oversees documentation of services by staff to assure conformity with Medi-Cal, County, other outside agencies, and internal standards and policies. QA/MR Coordinator manages all charts with deficiencies by processing them to the appropriate department for correction. QA/MR is responsible for ensuring the discharged chart is closed in the correct order and completed. Position oversees the Continuous Quality Assurance program, medical records and records all CQI data. Generally, works Monday – Friday first shift.

  • The TAY Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) facility is a short-term voluntary residential
  • facility. Designed to help Transitional Age Youth (TAY), ages 18-25, who experience a psychiatric crisis to safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to community.

Services include:

  • 24/7 Program
  • Therapeutic and mental health services
  • Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services
  • Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
  • Medication evaluation and support services
  • Daily exercise and health/wellness education
  • Crisis intervention
