Job Summary: Responsible for monitoring production processes and finished products to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect raw materials, production lines, and finished products for quality and specification compliance.

  • Monitor and document HACCP, GMP, SOP, and sanitation requirements.

  • Perform pre-operational inspections, ATP/environmental swabbing, and temperature checks.

  • Identify quality or food-safety deviations and communicate issues to QA/QC and production teams.

  • Complete QC records, corrective actions, calibration checks, and traceability documentation.

  • Assist with internal audits, inspections, mock recalls, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant production environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience in quality control, food manufacturing, or seafood processing preferred.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, and food-safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
