About the role and about You:

The Content team at Zwift is working to develop compelling content experiences that entice new and seasoned members to Zwift weekly. We want to enable meaningful social connections and communities to allow customers to find their tribe. The Content team ToT is made up of 10 teams. As the ToT TPM (Team Steward), you will be a key strategic partner in developing and managing the Portfolio Backlog and Roadmap. You will strive for execution excellence, optimization, and consistently support/unblock your teams. As the Senior Manager, TPM, you will be responsible and own the processes, tools, and frameworks that lead to successful, high quality delivery for the Content  team. You will also be the primary coach, leader, and manager of a group of TPMs. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in building, growing, scaling, and supporting rapidly growing teams. In this position, you must be comfortable navigating the unknown, driving clarity, managing competing priorities, and elevating others to ensure they’re doing their best work. Though this is a leadership role, there are still times when you’ll need to get in the weeds and do the work -- we’re in search of a candidate who can think strategically/own high level initiatives, but tag in as an executor and doer. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, grow, and support a team of TPMs through servant leadership. Ensure each TPM is being set up for success and provide career development, coaching, and feedback to each one.
  • As a deeply experienced agile practitioner, coach and mentor others on agile best practices across teams
  • Establish practices and processes that ensure delivery is high-quality, optimized, and sustainable
  • Oversee the Content  teams, ensure work at the team level aligns and ladders up to the portfolio roadmap, support teams in exposing any interdependencies 
  • Act as a strategic partner and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to set and achieve product objectives and goals.
  • Create and manage high-visibility programs: reporting, risk management, resourcing, and dependency tracking
  • Build relationships within the organization, cultivate influence and collaborate with strategic partners ranging from Marketing, CS, Product, Legal, and others.
  • Push for better - be the primary driver and facilitator of improving team performance and elevating one another
  • Clearly message priorities to stakeholders and teams, build communications channels and reports to increase visibility
  • Inclusive facilitation - create and build a space for team members that is psychologically safe, empower teams to move fast and fail forward
  • Be the pulse of the team, champion team health, and define ways to ensure team effectiveness and happiness

What we’re looking for: 

  • 8+ years of technical program or project management experience leading cross-platform engineering teams
  • Experience delivering large scale programs through both the PDLC and SDLC
  • Experience in leading and managing people, scaling teams, and developing a team culture.
  • Demonstrated experience of driving clarity and ushering large, complex projects through successful delivery
  • Thought leader with experience working autonomously and leading in a cross-functional setting
  • A high level of comfortability with executive communication
  • Experience with using product and customer-centric approaches and systems
  • Success in leading agile teams at scale
  • Experience mentoring other TPMs in using Agile/Scrum development processes
  • Exposure to sophisticated product and program management techniques like User Story Mapping, Journey Mapping, and Design Thinking
  • Cross-platform device experience: mobile, desktop, etc.
  • Self-motivation to deliver results and a desire to continuously elevate yourself and your teammates

(Colorado only) Minimum salary of $138,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
