Technical Program Manager, Software

We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to join Snap Inc! As the Technical Program Manager, you will organize programs and development activities for our organization's software deliverables. Working from our Venice, CA headquarters, you will be tasked with developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in both program management and software.
What you'll do:
- Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
- Work with the Hardware, Design, and Software teams to develop a plan to implement the organization's goals
- Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
- Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
- Interface with various third party and internal teams at Snap to enable high quality solution implementations
- Articulate complex technical issues to key stakeholders and decision makers, in a clear and concise manner, to enable objective decision making
- Analyze and report on program risks
Who we're looking for:
- BS or MS in engineering
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management
- Proven experience in program and project management
- Hands on experience with JIRA, Quip, Git, GitHub
- Excellent verbal and written communications, with high attention to detail
- Someone who gets excited by tough technical challenges
- A lover of learning who is passionate about helping others
- A passion for Snapchat and creativity!
