Technical Program Manager, Customer Onboarding

About the role and about You:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to steward our Onboarding team and backlog. As a founding member, you will have the opportunity to drive the mission - delivering a delightful onboarding experience to our Zwift community. You will coordinate and lead various cross-functional agile ceremonies to empower team members, increase alignment, and nurture communication channels across the organization.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the work systems that deliver the full onboarding experience to customers and subscription-based products or services
- Partner with Product Management to lead and orchestrate the cross-functional onboarding team to execute on portfolio initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal development teams and stakeholders involved in delivering the Zwift onboarding experience, keeping all team members accountable to delivery timelines and schedules
- Balance a relational and operationally-driven mindset - i.e. leverage data and discussion to tell a story, drive alignment across stakeholders
- Steward development process for teams using applied expertise in agile, lean approaches to planning and projection
- Own team-level development process artifacts and events across a variety of tools including JIRA and other project management tools
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of technical program or project management experience leading cross-platform engineering teams
- Extensive experience with eCommerce user flows and product development is required
- Proven expertise in agile and lean development process across multiple teams
- Experience in leading teams delivering on the customer lifecycle as it relates to onboarding
- A high degree of comfortability operating in a distributed development setting
- A desire to continuously elevate yourself and your teammates
- Exposure to advanced product and program management techniques like User Story Mapping, Journey Mapping, and Design Thinking
- Cross-platform device experience: mobile, desktop, and gaming console
