Global Environmental Health & Safety Program Manager

We are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) professional to join our Global Security team! As a member of the Global Resiliency team, you will design and implement Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Fire & Life Safety, and Environmental Compliance programs. Working from our Santa Monica, CA office, you’ll collaborate with various teams, such as Security, Compliance, and Facilities, to create programs that will help manage Snap’s risk.
What you’ll do:
- Develop EHS policies and programs
- Manage local, state, federal, and international-level EHS requirements
- Perform risk assessments and comprehensive audits on EHS program
- Direct OSH functions across all Snap facilities
- Identify training requirements, develop content, and deliver training
- Support real-estate development EHS requirements through design and construction hazard management
- Track and report on key performance indicators related to EHS
- Participate in Global Resiliency budget development
Minimum qualifications:
- 5+ years of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a safety-focused discipline (Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Safety and Health, Safety or Environmental Management, and Safety or Environmental Science, or Engineering) or another relevant field
- 1+ year of experience providing hazardous/special waste management support and air quality permit requirements
- Proven success developing and leading a global EHS program
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred
- Related professional certification preferred (ASP, CSP, CHMM, CIH, PE)
- Excellent judgment, initiative, and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Comprehensive technical expertise managing hazardous materials, emergency planning, Fire & Life Safety, lab safety, indoor air quality, injury and illness prevention, and contractor safety
- Able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with internal staff and external consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to accommodate tight deadlines and shifting priorities
- Detail-oriented and business-friendly team player
- A disciplined, driven mindset, capable of operating with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively and drive consensus across all levels of the organization
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
