We’re looking for a Council Program Manager to join the People Team!
What You’ll Do:
The Council practice is an integral part of Snap Inc. and as the company grows we want to develop a pipeline of facilitators for future opportunities—You will be responsible for leading all aspects of logistics for the various initiatives tied to the expanding the Council program, something uniquely Snap.
Help build meaningful opportunities for diverse global candidates to become Council facilitators.
Manage the outreach and scheduling of all elements of the internal and external training programs
Oversee external Council Trainings by managing annual timeline and assist with strategy for Community Councils, Council Trainings and Council Cohort Program.
Managing all logistics for Council training sessions and retreats
Overseeing all elements of the Council Training Cohort recruitment process and program including managing relationships with universities, organizations and institutions to develop program partnerships as well as the application and recruiting process
Develop and implement training program communication strategy including participant registrations, database, contracts, newsletters and website for both applicants and partners
Onboard the Council Training Cohort and support members from beginning to end of program
Perform other Council related duties as assigned i.e., participating in all elements of Council programming, supporting retreats and trainings
Manage and schedule Council Book interviews and corresponding non-disclosure agreements, promotional communications, materials, release forms and vendor contracts
Support and develop Council Training-related materials and curriculum, as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experienced office administrator and utilizing content management systems
Experienced with marketing and website editing
Experienced with program management and balancing partnerships and relationships
Be a resourceful self-starter, have a strong work ethic, with the ability to work in an ever-evolving environment
Possesses excellent critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills
Outstanding attention to detail
Proven track record of managing budget for departments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
Ability to work under pressure and perform several tasks concurrently in a deadline driven environment
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree or equivalent years of experience
5+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience leading or teaching
Proficiency in all programs under Google Drive (including Google Calendar, Sheets, Docs, and Forms)
