The Role

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive go-to-market execution and contribute to product marketing strategy across our K-12 portfolio, with a meaningful focus on customer lifecycle marketing strategy. This role is ideal for a hands-on marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and is excited about translating product innovation into impactful marketing, sales, and retention outcomes.
You will work across multiple products in our portfolio, partnering closely with our product, go-to-market, and customer success teams to drive revenue growth, deepen product adoption, and deliver ongoing value to GoGuardian customers. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Product Marketing, and will own key areas of go-to-market execution and customer lifecycle marketing strategy, while actively contributing to positioning, messaging, and broader strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

Product Marketing

  • Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for GoGuardian products across multiple segments.
  • Partner with senior product marketing leadership to develop product positioning and messaging.
  • Assist in market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Own execution of product launches and feature releases, including coordinating timelines, developing briefs, and ensuring cross-functional alignment.
  • Create high-quality assets such as sales collateral, product one-pagers, presentations, and digital content.
  • Support sales enablement efforts by helping develop materials, training content, and internal documentation.

Customer Lifecycle Marketing

  • Strategize, collaborate on design, and oversee execution of customer lifecycle marketing programs — onboarding, adoption, upsell/cross-sell, and renewal campaigns — that drive measurable engagement, ARR pipeline, and retention across the customer base.
  • Own segmentation and lifecycle email/nurture programs, using customer data to trigger timely, relevant touchpoints throughout the customer journey.
  • Analyze campaign, lifecycle, and product performance data to identify insights and recommend optimizations to increase effectiveness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Customer Success, and the broader Marketing team to ensure alignment and share insights.
  • Contribute to scalable processes and workflows that improve team efficiency.

Who You Are:

  • 4-6 years of product marketing or related experience (e.g., marketing, product, sales enablement, customer/lifecycle marketing) in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience developing strategic product marketing plans, including positioning, segmentation, and go-to-market planning.
  • Experience supporting product launches or campaigns from planning through execution.
  • Experience building and executing customer lifecycle programs (onboarding, adoption, renewal, retention, and upsell/cross-sell campaigns).
  • Familiarity with lifecycle/marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Braze, or similar) and using customer data to inform campaign triggers and segmentation.
  • Ability to synthesize customer insights, market data, and product information into clear, compelling messaging.
  • Highly collaborative with strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, including engagement, adoption, and retention metrics, and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-centric mindset and curiosity about the K-12 education landscape.
  • Strong work ethic, combining bias for action with innovative thinking.
  • Understanding of the K-12 education market is preferred.
  • Eager to take initiative in a fast-paced, ever-changing, dynamic environment.
  • Fueled by the opportunity to truly impact the education landscape.
  • Something else? Tell us! We want to learn more about you.

 What We Offer

  • Competitive pay, complete health insurance, 401(k) matching, and an employee equity plan.
  • Flexible time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and a paid year-end holiday break.
  • A robust catalog of benefits that support your professional growth and personal wellbeing, including work from home funds, fertility & adoption reimbursement, and more.

Plus the intangible:

  • A varied and challenging role in an innovative, global company.
  • Supportive, driven colleagues who have your back and share your passion.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
