Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to oversee the development and delivery of our ZEN product. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring that the product meets customer needs and aligns with Actian's strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the ZEN product development projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and successes to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the software or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of database technologies, particularly embedded databases.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with IoT and edge computing solutions.
  • Experience in working with developers' communities.
  • Familiarity with similar No SQL database technology or similar database products.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
