Main purpose of the Process Innovation Analyst  role:

The Process Innovation Analyst plays a pivotal role in evolving processes and strategies for the Buying, Planning, and Merchandising teams. The Process Innovation Analyst’s primary objective is to create innovative technical solutions to ensure accuracy, streamlined workflow, optimization, and efficiency. The Process Innovation Analyst will assist and/or spearhead various projects and initiatives.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  •  Work directly with Process Innovation Manager to examine current processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement
  •  Collect and document requirements for projects and improvement efforts

  • Roles and responsibilities can often be expanded to accommodate changing business conditions and goals, as well as to tap into the skills and talents of the individuals in the company. Accordingly, associates may be asked to perform duties that are outside the specific functions that are listed.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Buying, Planning, and Merchandising teams to understand needs and to ensure that desired results are achieved
  • Develop, test, and implement new innovative processes for respective teams and ensure new practices are appropriately integrated
  • Develop strategies, automate reporting tools, and streamline processes to help overall efficiencies
  • Multi-task high priority, long-term projects and ad hoc requests from various departments

Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  •  Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of mathematical relationships and data structures

  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills

  • Data driven thought process

  •  Advanced understanding of the retail industry and retail math

  • Strong understanding of the business as well as the needs of end-user to provide technical solutions

  •  Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and time management

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of analytical experience – preferably in the retail industry

  •  SQL experience

  •  Bachelors or Masters degree

Preferred Qualifications: 

  •  Proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.) and experience with query writing (SQL or other data query languages)

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.


A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $75,000 to $85,000.
