Process Engineer (m/f/d)

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Process Engineer, you will drive the analysis, optimization, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes. You will manage plant CAPEX projects and work cross-functionally to enhance efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and monitor production processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement data-driven improvements
  • Support preventive and extraordinary maintenance planning and ensure adequate spare parts availability
  • Collaborate with HSE on supplier management, documentation, and compliance with safety regulations
  • Participate in equipment, machinery, and process validation and support troubleshooting of production and quality issues
  • Analyze technical and production KPIs, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, including procedures related to safety and environment
  • Define technical, quality, and production specifications for new investments and manage CAPEX projects from budgeting to commissioning

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience ideally in PVC compounding or the chemical industry
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, maintenance, and control systems
  • Familiarity with PLCs and basic programming logic; knowledge of ISO 13485 is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, shop-floor oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) and ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels
  • Experience working with ERP/MES systems (preferably SAP) is an advantage
