Job Summary:
The Principal, Transfer Pricing is responsible for developing, implementing and executing tax services.
Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results
People:
- Works with Ryan Transfer Pricing Practice to develop new planning ideas to deliver to global clients
- Works with Ryan Income Tax Consultancy-Recovery practice to develop new planning ideas to deliver to global clients
- Supervises consulting and compliance work delegated to staff and managers.
Client:
- Develops new client relationships and works with Ryan global management team to expand the practice to other markets
- Coordinates the delivery of Transfer Pricing services to Ryan multinational clients
- Presents presentations to prospects and clients.
Value:
- Develops and executes Transfer Pricing consulting projects
- Develops and supervises Transfer Pricing compliance projects
- Serves as subject matter expert on International Income Tax in assigned jurisdictions / geographical areas
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Economics required; a minimum of 10 to 12 years’ experience in Income Tax; excellent technical income tax skills; deep familiarity with income tax laws and rules, especially those governing international trade and cross-border transactions of goods and services; previous track record of excellent service delivery and working in a team environment.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid Passport required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in the International Income Tax practice and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firm’s policies and applicable laws.
Work Environment:
- Standard indoor working environment.
- Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
- Position requires regular interaction with coworkers and clients both in person and via e-mail and telephone.
- Independent travel requirement: 10 to 30%, but will vary by individual.
