Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Pricing Analyst (A03) supporting our Material Estimating team, based in Sunnyvale, CA. The preferred location for this on-site position is Sunnyvale, CA, but can also be staffed at our Woodland Hills, CA or San Diego, CA locations. Telecommuting may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
 

What You’ll Get to Do:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare material estimates for proposal submittals by:

    • Understanding customer requirements through RFPs and other requests

    • Collaborating and coordinating with proposal technical teams to develop the material estimating strategy, interfacing with Business Management, Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Program Office, and Pricing Organizations

    • Selecting appropriate pricing methods (e.g., PO History, vendor quotes) for each item included in the proposal

    • Working on multiple priority proposals concurrently

    • Ensuring compliance with Customer and FAR/DFAR Regulatory Requirements

    • Ensuring delivery schedule adherence

    • Supporting proposal reviews with detailed Bills of Materials and Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs), including accompanying supporting data

    • Preparing Bill of Material pricing templates to support proposal-specific pricing models

    • Supporting risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal estimating process

    • Preparing material price analyses to support business unit and GSC leaders in decision-making as it pertains to specific pricing proposals

    • Supporting fact-finding, government audits, customer negotiations, and certifications, while ensuring TINA compliance during all aspects of the proposal process

    • Interacting with various stakeholders, including but not limited to Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Pricing, and Business Management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of combined experience in Pricing, Estimating, Global Supply Chain or another Business Management related function or a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience

  • Proposal experience within government contracting

  • Prior pricing or material estimating experience

  • Knowledge of FAR and DFAR

  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
