As a Pricing Analyst you'll work within the Secondary Marketing, Capital Markets department to deliver pricing to our customers and support the Capital Markets Trading Desk. You'll work directly with AmeriHome’s clients to support their post-trade changes to ensure successful fulfillment of trades. You'll communicate price changes and handling exception pricing for AmeriHome’s Retail lending division and make commitment updates on their behalf. You'll gather and analyze competitive market information to make recommendations on pricing. You'll learn how AmeriHome prices, bids on and buys loans.- Make post-trade adjustments including pricing updates, rolls, pair-offs, extensions and substitutions.
- Update, validate and disseminate daily Best-Efforts pricing. Perform competitiveness analysis and recommend updates to pricing to maximize company volume and revenue.
- Support the trading desk such as trade setup, trade confirmations, trade updates, and trade management functions.
- Work with external and internal groups such as AmeriHome Retail, client sellers, vendors, broker dealers and Government-Sponsored Enterprise (GSE).
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Entry level knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including; sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
- Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate experience with SQL, Excel, including ability to summarize data via formulas, lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
