Supervise approximately 20 patient access staff, overseeing registration, payment collection, quality review, scheduling, staffing, training, timekeeping, KPI tracking, and operational support. Lead daily huddles, staff engagement, performance conversations, and hiring activities. Provide Epic support, resolve email and work-queue issues, collaborate across departments, and participate in off-hours, weekend, holiday, and downtime coverage.

- Supervise Patient Access Staff with about 20 Direct Reports
- Aid in on-call Supervisor Rotation During Weekends, Holidays and Off Hours
- Staff / Department Rounding
- Develop Agenda Topics for Daily Huddles and Chair the Discussion
- Staff on Boarding - Identify Candidates / Screen / Interview / Hire / Train / Mentor During Probationary Period and Beyond
- Report and Work Queue Support
- Schedule Development and Maintenance
- Kronos Timekeeping for Staff
- Epic Support and Training for Staff
- Crucial / Progressive / Developmental Conversation Completion
- Registration Support - Registration Completion and Quality Review
- POS Collection - Collect and / or Reconciliation of Patient Payments

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of medical office experience
- 1+ years of leadership or management position experience
- 1+ years of outpatient registration experience
- Ability to work full-time between 4:00 pm - 1:00 am including the flexibility to work extra hours and alternative schedules per business need
- Ability to work onsite at John Muir Health, Walnut Creek Medical Center - 1601 Ygnacio Valley Rd, Walnut Creek, CA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience and knowledge of PC applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations as they pertain to Emergency Department processes and procedures
- Proven ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
