The opportunityOur client is looking for a Partner Success Manager to support existing partners as they move through the Pledge and Campaign processes, keep milestones on track, and grow strong accounts beyond the initial engagement. You will manage partner relationships primarily through written communication, identify expansion opportunities, and own those relationships through upsell and continued growth.
Our client helps creators bring custom toy ideas to life from concept to campaign. Its partners range from video game companies and individual animators to sports podcasters and animal rescue organizations. Our client handles design, production, and fulfillment end to end, and is scaling quickly as campaign volumes grow.
• Support existing partners through the Pledge and Campaign processes, making sure milestones, follow-ups, and next steps land smoothly.
• Manage partner communication primarily over email, using occasional Zoom calls when a live conversation is the best way to move an account forward.
• Maintain empathetic, reliable follow-up across multiple partner accounts and proactively surface needs, risks, or blockers.
• Identify strategic partners with clear upsell potential, including additional products, new drops, and expanded merchandise lines.
• Own partner relationships through expansion, balancing a strong partner experience with thoughtful commercial growth.
• Use or quickly learn HubSpot, Front, Asana, Gmail, and Google Calendar, and join account strategy conversations in real time when timezone overlap allows.
Requirements What you bring
• Experience managing named customer or partner accounts in customer success, account management, partner success, or a closely related relationship-focused role.
• Strong written communication, empathy, and follow-up discipline; most partner communication in this role happens over email.
• Demonstrated ability to spot growth opportunities within an existing relationship and expand an account beyond the initial deal.
• Genuine familiarity with at least one of Our client's core verticals - gaming, animation/anime, or non-profit work - and the ability to communicate credibly with that community.
• A self-directed, asynchronous working style with strong organization and reliability. EST business-hours overlap is preferred for live account strategy discussions, although an exceptional candidate may work successfully with less overlap.
• Fluency with gaming community culture, including platforms such as Discord.
• Deep familiarity or networks within animation/anime communities or the non-profit sector.
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Front, Asana, Gmail, and Google Calendar.
Benefits How the engagement works
The role can begin as a probationary full-time or part-time engagement, with the option to scale to long-term full-time for the right fit. Compensation is market-rate, and Our client is open to considering both part-time and full-time rate expectations.
EST business hours are preferred so you can join strategy conversations for individual accounts in real time. An exceptional candidate may still thrive with a more asynchronous schedule; fit and account ownership matter more than rigid clock alignment.
Partner communication is primarily email-based, with occasional Zoom calls. You will be expected to manage your accounts independently, communicate clearly, and maintain consistent follow-up.
Contracting party, administrative arrangements, and any client-provided equipment, leave, stipend, wellbeing benefit, or other support will be confirmed separately during the process.
