We are looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to join Five9’s Partner Marketing organization, reporting to the Senior Manager, Partner Marketing. This is a remote role. This person will own the marketing component of joint go-to-market plans with a focus group of resellers and service provider partners — turning shared strategy into campaigns, events, and pipeline.

The Partner Marketing Manager designs and runs collaborative marketing with those partners, including co-marketing, demand generation campaigns, and partner-led events. They build strong relationships with partners and act as their voice inside Five9. They work with internal teams to get toolkits, value propositions, and sales enablement playbooks into partners’ hands, amplify partner success and customer stories, and they are accountable for the partner-influenced pipeline those programs produce.

Key Responsibilities

Co-Marketing Programs

  • Support joint go-to-market plans with partners — work with a focus group of resellers and service provider partners to agree on shared goals and support marketing deliverables from planning through execution.
  • Design and run integrated co-branded demand generation campaigns with priority partners — including digital marketing, webinars, ABM, incentive programs, and partner-led events.
  • Develop strong relationships with priority partners — build trust with their marketing and sales teams through regular contact and follow-through.
  • Act as the voice of the partner inside Five9 — bring partner feedback and needs to internal teams and advocate for what helps partners succeed.

Pipeline & Revenue Impact

  • Drive partner-influenced pipeline — set pipeline goals for each program before launch and manage to them.
  • Manage Marketing Development Fund (MDF) planning and governance — oversee partner proposals, approvals, and performance tracking, and make sure MDF investments align to revenue objectives and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Track and report on program performance — show what is producing pipeline and revenue, and adjust programs based on results.

Enablement & Content

  • Create co-marketing assets and partner-ready campaigns —work cross-functionally to package messaging, content, and campaign kits partners can pick up and launch, and drive adoption of global campaigns and tools.
  • Distribute partner-ready value propositions and sales enablement playbooks — provide practical guidance on when and how to bring Five9 into a conversation into partners’ hands.
  • Amplify partner success and customer stories — work with internal teams to capture joint wins and put them to work in campaigns, events, and partner enablement.

Candidate Requirements and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, or B2B marketing, with significant time working with resellers, service providers, or other channel partners.
  • Hands-on experience designing and running co-marketing and demand generation programs with partners.
  • Experience planning and delivering partner-led events, from planning through post-event follow-up.
  • Track record of owning pipeline goals and reporting on results; experience with partner-influenced pipeline is highly recommended.
  • Experience managing Marketing Development Fund (MDF) or similar co-marketing budgets, including partner proposals, approvals, and ROI tracking.
  • Experience working with cross-functional sales and marketing teams to get partner toolkits, value propositions, co-branded content, and sales enablement materials into partners’ hands.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software, ideally CX or contact center technology, is highly recommended.
  • Hands-on proficiency with modern AI tools and a clear point of view on how to apply them to marketing, content, and partner programs.
  • Strong relationship-building, written, and verbal communication skills, including advocating for partner needs internally, with the ability to run several programs with several partners at once.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Comfortable working with partners and colleagues in a remote environment.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
