Own Zip’s affiliate and partner marketing programs end to end, including strategy, partner negotiations, campaign launches, optimization, performance reporting, and revenue growth. Manage advertiser relationships, coordinate cross-functional activation, identify monetization opportunities, and advise leadership using attribution and performance insights. The role requires strong commercial judgment, affiliate network expertise, and ownership of revenue targets across fintech, e-commerce, or marketplace channels.

  • We move fast on relationships; identifying the right partners, getting them live, and optimizing relentlessly. The best people here are equal parts strategic and hands-on: they translate channel vision into effective marketing programs and execute the campaign, coordinate activation, and build the reporting. They thrive with ownership, not playbooks.
  • Deep affiliate network fluency (ShareASale, CJ, Impact, PepperJam) paired with the commercial chops to manage partner campaigns end-to-end; from offer construction and conversion optimization to partner negotiation and executive-level reporting.
  • Remote-first opportunity for US-based employees with the option to work in-person out of our Manhattan office

Start your adventure with Zip

We're looking for a commercially minded Affiliate & Partnerships leader to help grow and optimize Zip's affiliate and third-party monetization channels. In this role, you'll take end-to-end ownership of affiliate programs and partner marketing initiatives, from developing strategies and negotiating opportunities to launching campaigns, analyzing performance, and driving revenue growth. You'll combine deep affiliate network expertise with a hands-on approach to execution, identifying opportunities to improve conversion, strengthen partner relationships, and unlock new revenue streams. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on autonomy, moves quickly, and knows how to turn commercial opportunities into measurable business results.

You'll work closely with our Marketing, Growth, Product, and Account Management teams to connect partner opportunities with Zip's broader business objectives. As part of a fast-moving, collaborative environment, you'll help expand our third-party ecosystem, bring new monetization opportunities to market, and ensure our affiliate partnerships deliver meaningful value for Zip, our partners, and our customers. You'll have the opportunity to influence channel strategy, collaborate with senior leadership, and play a key role in scaling an important revenue stream for the business.

Interesting problems you’ll get to solve OR Write your story with a career at Zip

  • Manage affiliate programs end-to-end; set the targets, build the plan, and drive the actions that hit and exceed them
  • Coordinate campaign and product-launch logistics with partners, ensuring creative, timelines, and partner-facing materials are ready for launch.
  • Lead execution and recommend improvements across campaign planning, network management, and revenue pacing
  • Act as the dedicated business owner for Zip's third-party advertiser relationships; coordinating marketing programs, partner communications, campaign activation, and ongoing optimization to grow the revenue line.
  • Support high-value affiliate and partner deals by providing marketing requirements, performance insights, and activation plans, and coordinate implementation once commercial terms are agreed.
  • Advise internal teams and leadership on affiliate insights; shaping decisions and advocating for the channel at the executive level
  • Analyse performance data to surface actionable insights, close gaps, and course-correct before problems compound
  • Unlock co-op marketing and co-brand opportunities with key partners alongside marketing and account management teams
  • Educate and grow your partner portfolio through product briefings, strategic reviews, campaign guidance, regular performance reviews, and hands-on relationship management
  • Support onboarding new monetization vendors and manage their strategic growth; expanding Zip's third-party ecosystem with commercial discipline

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 5–8 years of affiliate, partnership, or performance marketing experience with a proven track record of owning and hitting revenue targets; not just executing someone else's plan
  • Demonstrated DRI experience; you've owned a channel, product line, or revenue vertical end-to-end, set the strategy, and been accountable for the outcome
  • Deep affiliate network fluency across platforms like ShareASale, Commission Junction, Impact, or PepperJam; you know how these ecosystems work and how to extract value from them
  • Strong commercial acumen; you understand unit economics, margin, and how to connect affiliate activity directly to business outcomes
  • Experienced partner manager who can influence stakeholders, coordinate campaign requirements, and manage ongoing affiliate relationships effectively
  • Data-driven operator comfortable with attribution models, dashboards, and performance reporting; you use data to make decisions, not just describe what happened
  • Cross-functional influencer who can shape decisions and contribute meaningfully to executive-level conversations without needing positional authority
  • Experience in fintech, BNPL, e-commerce, or marketplace environments; you understand the commercial dynamics and customer behaviors that make affiliate work in these categories
  • Translate complexity into clarity; you can take a nuanced affiliate strategy and make it land for any audience, from a merchant partner to a CFO

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
