Job descriptionOracle Project Manager
The team

Our Oracle practice helps clients transform their business operations through modern, cloud based solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and performance. You’ll join a collaborative team of functional, technical, data, integration, testing, change, and business professionals working together to deliver complex Oracle Fusion Cloud transformations. Our teams operate across multiple locations and work closely with client stakeholders, third party partners, and executive leadership to deliver high quality outcomes. As an Oracle Project Manager, you’ll play a critical role in bringing these teams together, maintaining delivery momentum, and helping our clients successfully navigate their transformation journey.

The role

As an Oracle Project Manager, you’ll lead the day to day delivery of end to end Oracle Fusion implementation programs from mobilisation through go live and stabilisation. You’ll develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, resource requirements, dependencies, budgets, governance schedules, and delivery commitments while coordinating functional, technical, data, integration, testing, change, training, cutover, and business workstreams. You’ll own RAID and decision logs, drive mitigation and resolution activities, and provide concise status reporting to program leadership, steering committees, and client stakeholders. You’ll also manage third parties, distributed delivery teams, and interproject dependencies while overseeing testing readiness, cutover, deployment, hypercare, and transition to support. Throughout delivery, you’ll ensure adherence to agreed methodologies, quality standards, security controls, and change control procedures.

What you’ll bring
  • Extensive experience managing end to end Oracle ERP and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of implementation lifecycles, including design, configuration, build, migration, testing, cutover, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Experience leading complex, multi workstream programs with geographically distributed, onshore, and offshore teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and contractual commitments.
  • Strong experience with RAID management, governance, change control, and dependency management.
  • Experience with financial management, commercial governance, resource forecasting, and supplier coordination.
  • Understanding of Oracle Fusion functional and technical delivery dependencies.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Oracle Cloud implementation or Oracle delivery methodology knowledge preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
