We are currently looking for a hardworking, highly-motivated, detail-oriented Trust Specialist who has strong analytical skills and can grow with the company. As a Trust and community Specialist,  you are the first line of defense in identifying and stopping fraudulent activity before it starts.  You will monitor and review The Tradesy community to help millions of members safely buy and sell new and pre-owned designer fashion on Tradesy. 

The Tradesy Trust and Community team is a tight-knit, highly motivated group with a do-whatever-it-takes philosophy. You'll also work closely with our Member Care, Authentication  and Fulfillment Operations teams to keep Tradesy safe for our buyers and sellers. To be successful in this role you should be a self-starter who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. 

You will:

  • Review a high volume of user accounts, recently listed items, and completed transactions to ensure users are within Community Guidelines
  • Monitor Community messages for Violations 
  • Communicate with users via email regarding payment related issues, authenticity concerns, account status, and other trust-related matters
  • Review account history and research suspicious patterns or unusual activity
  • Review items flagged by our users for authenticity concerns or inaccurate descriptions
  • Work with internal teams to provide product feedback and help develop new tools and features to continuously improve the integrity of our marketplace
  • Review Chargeback initiated claims and prepare documentation packets to our payment processor

You have:

  • 2 years of Fraud Prevention or Risk Management experience 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • An eye for identifying outliers among data sets
  • Confidence, tact, patience, politeness, and diplomacy while dealing with complex problems
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to research cases and address user concerns
  • Flexibility and adaptability to constantly evolving work-flows and responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), strong follow-up and are customer-focused
  • You know your Birkins from Neverfulls, Satchels from Totes, and Mules from Clogs. You may not be a fashion expert, but you have a general sense of the domain, and can get up to speed very quickly.
  • Prior customer service experience or call center
  • Experience with Zendesk
  • Hands-on experience with anti-fraud and payment platforms like Riskified, Signifyd, Ekata, or Email Age
  • Prior experience or understanding with using Payment processing gateways, such as, Stripe and PayPal.
