About Us

At SimplePractice, our team is driven by a mission to service the transformative work our customers do. We’re dedicated to providing products and services built to help health & wellness professionals in their journey to running a successful practice.

Core Competencies and ResponsibilitiesWe’re seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to facilitate key projects and manage and improve operational systems for the SimplePractice Ecosystem and Emerging Solutions Team. You’ll coordinate and facilitate all aspects of building a scalable Ecosystem and Emerging Solutions group, directly supporting the VP of Strategy, Ecosystem. This role will be responsible for managing all operational aspects necessary to support successful, timely, and in-scope delivery of Ecosystem and Emerging Solutions team projects. You will organize and manage project plans, identify and remove blockers, facilitate effective communications and meetings, and be willing to jump in wherever needed to move things forward.

You’ll identify and prioritize operational processes and frameworks to support the needs of the team - with a focus on flexibility, adoption, and alignment with our company culture. You’ll do this by digging in to deeply learn our company, ecosystem, team, market, and very intentional company culture. This learning will give you the context you need to adapt all operational processes and frameworks to meet the specific needs of the team.

To get started, you’ll develop a project plan, identify immediate needs, and establish a meeting cadence for the Ecosystem and Emerging Solutions team to get ramped up. You’ll work closely with all members of the Ecosystem and Emerging Solutions team to support their needs through systems, offloading workload, and identifying solutions to inefficient and ineffective workflows.

Initial Responsibilities

  • Closely collaborate with all stakeholders of priority, cross-functional projects and maintain a top-down view of the entire execution
  • Develop and maintain a project plan for the growth and iteration of our Ecosystem and Emerging Solutions group in close alignment with the VP and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the coordination between external and internal resources
  • Facilitate regular meetings to ensure delivery of work, remove blockers, and maintain alignment of the group; including keeping leadership informed
  • Identify and track any blockers/dependencies between external/internal groups and/or sub-projects and communicate accordingly
  • Proactively track work across multiple parts of the Ecosystem and Emerging Solutions portfolio to ensure alignment and effectively communicate and manage expectations
  • Constantly evaluate any change management needs and tailor the approach to the scale of the change
  • Facilitate and/or lead various deliverables such as the selection of agencies/contractors, go to market planning, and more
  • Go beyond coordinating projects and take the mindset of how to constantly make a project better

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-7+ years of experience in operations or project management
  • Strong negotiating, facilitating, influencing, and vendor management skills
  • Strong influencing skills to align across internal groups with competing priorities
  • Strong problem solving and structuring skills, with ability to communicate actionable insights
  • Startup Savvy - You understand the fast pace, the scrappiness, and flexibility required for success….. and you love it
  • Communication skills - Through every medium, and everyone you come in contact with, you know how to communicate effectively, elegantly, and with respect, always
  • Ability to manage conflict and resolve difficult situations
  • Outstanding work ethic, ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize and deliver multiple tasks on time
