The Workplace Services Team is composed of our Portfolio Strategy team that plans for our capacity needs long term and ensures we have the spaces necessary to serve our fast growing global team, our Construction Project team that builds out our spaces to meet the needs of our employees, our Workplace Operations team that operates our spaces to ensure they are clean, well maintained, responsive to the day to day needs of our employees, and our Food Teams that offer food programs designed to help our teams gather, collaborate, stay productive, and recharge. The Workplace Services teams collaborate with the business to help reinforce our values of Kind, Smart, and Creative across our global offices, every day. We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Workplace Operations to join Snap Inc! You’ll play a key leadership role in our Workplace Services Operations team as we continue to grow. Working from our Southern California campus, you’ll lead our Workplace Services Operations team for North America, helping to ensure that the day to day operations of our campuses in this region run smoothly. You’ll lead a team of full-time employees and contract workers, overseeing procurement of workplace services and supplies, daily onsite repair and maintenance, post-occupancy improvements, and our transportation programs for the North American region.
What you’ll do:
Manage local on-site Facilities, Transportation, Logistics, and building Maintenance teams
Oversee details associated with office expansions, including furniture procurement, moves, and changes as needed
Manage outsourced third party facilities vendor partner
Collaborate with cross-functional Security, AV, IT, and Food teams
Build department policies and procedures, complying with OSHA standards
Build and oversee costs, maintaining operational expenses within budget
Knowledge, skills, & abilities:
Ability to work well in fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience managing and leading teams with a strong ability to coach and develop others
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders
Foresight into the needs of others and strong initiative to begin projects where necessary without direction
Ability to handle extremely sensitive information with utmost discretion
Proven ability to maintain and execute against a comprehensive schedule of needs and priorities
Someone who can work effectively on large-scale projects while simultaneously tending to often minute details and tasks
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of facilities management experience in a campus environment
