Golden Bolt, the fulfillment division of Golden Hippo is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Associate I for our fulfillment center in Chatsworth, CA. This person is responsible for ensuring regulations are met for all cosmetic products and brands. They will evaluate and approve contract manufacturers, review all product labeling, and ensure product quality meets all applicable regulations. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance for differing international market regulations and retailer requirements.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Visually inspects incoming products, labels, and packaging to ensure it meets quality standards
- Reviews product Certificate of Analysis (COA) against internal specifications, while ensuring all packing lists, Bill of Lading (BOL) and other documentation is correct and acceptable as it relates to incoming products from manufacturers
- Determines and communicates appropriate resolution if product does not meet quality standards
- Compiles and documents COA history and inspection checklists within database so it may be accessed and reviewed by team
- Work with manufactures to determine root causes and corrective actions of customer complaints
- Develops, recommends, and monitors corrective and preventative actions
- Prepares metric reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
- Evaluates audit findings and implements appropriate corrective actions
- Reviews labeling operation documents
- Responsible for document management systems
- Sends out samples to third party labs and assesses results against internal product specifications
- Assures ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory regulations
- Adapts easily to changes in standards or policies
- Other duties as assigned
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of quality assurance experience
- Strong organizational prowess and ability to prioritize several tasks appropriately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
