Why We Exist:

Over 65 million Americans suffer from a treatable mental health issue - that’s 1 out of every 5 people. It’s an epidemic of massive proportions and there’s a good chance that someone close to you has had a period where they could really use help, even if it wasn’t obvious to the people around them.

A big reason that people don’t see a therapist is because of cost and the burden of making a dozen phone calls to find the right provider. More than half of therapists don’t take insurance and a single session can cost hundreds of dollars out-of-pocket. Path is building a software powered national network of world-class therapists and psychiatrists who take health insurance so that anyone can get the help they need for a fraction of the cost. We’ll also match patients with exactly the right person for their needs whether it’s experience with a certain condition, gender, race, location, life experience, etc.

On the therapist side, running a therapy business is extremely challenging. Many of the therapists we speak with got into the field to help patients but instead spend much of their time managing their practice (billing, credentialing, marketing, verifying benefits, etc.). Path hands therapists an entire successful  practice in a box. We’ll set them up with an electronic health record system to run your practice and we’ll quickly match them with patients, so new patients just show up on their calendar with zero work required. Therapists can focus on high quality care instead of the logistics of running a practice. 

We’ve built a network of thousands of providers and thousands of patients and are growing incredibly quickly. We’ve raised $22M from top tier investors and will have over 100 employees by the end of this year. Overview

As the Provider Onboarding Manager, you will own the conversion funnel for providers joining the Path network. You think in terms of process optimization, funnel stages, and love the idea of automating and optimizing (while finding ways to balance quality). This is a ground level opportunity at a fast growing start-up!

What you will be doing

  • Oversee Path’s onboarding team
  • Own the Provider onboarding funnel
  • Build and improve internal processes to save time and remove friction 
  • Implement third party tools to ensure our funnel is as efficient as possible
  • Oversee provider learning management as they learn how to work with Path
  • Understand Provider pain points in the process and make recommendations for how to remove/reduce them
  • Hire, manage, and develop an onboarding team

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant Experience:  6+ years marketplace operation experience; Has worked in a marketplace tech company on the supplyside and has optimized operational processes there. Our perfect candidate has optimized a supplyside conversion funnel before. Insurance credentialing experience a plus 
  • Strategic problem solver: able to identify the root cause of a problem, prioritize how urgent/important it is, structure the key elements and exercise sound judgement in solving it
  • Process builder / manager: loves building structure and order from chaos, able to build scalable, efficient solutions to complex problems, competent at managing and improving process on an ongoing basis 
  • Analytical and data driven: highly attentive to detail and obsessed with optimizing how we use data to thoroughly understand and optimize the business
  • Mission-oriented: Passion for a mission-driven company focused on disrupting an industry to help patients heal
  • Strong communicator: A natural communicator who can break down process into fine details but also pull up and communicate at the executive level
  • Bias for action: Entrepreneurial spirit & and willingness to hustle and get your hands dirty; Desire to operate in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Natural leader and collaborator: you work well cross-functionally, can inspire the team and create alignment
  • People leader: Experience with people management in an operational setting
  • Highly resourceful: you get even the most challenging things done through hard work and creativity
