Deluxe is a global company with presence in 6 countries. Our clients include the major Hollywood studios as well as a growing number of on-line retailers. 

We currently have an opening for a Hospitality Lead. This position will be located in Hollywood, CA.

Job Description

The Hospitality Lead is responsible for providing a world-class experience for guests of our Hollywood mixing studio. The Hospitality Lead ensures that clients are comfortable and able to work on their projects with minimal distractions while enjoying a curated selection of beverages, food, and downtime entertainment. The Hospitality Lead works in concert with the Hospitality Coordinators, Facilities, and the Office Manager to ensure the studio is a clean, productive, and positive workplace environment for employees and clients alike. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Greets guests and provides tailored choices for food and beverages to suit both individual tastes and project budgets while building positive rapport with clients to retain their patronage
• Develops and implements food and beverage programs for visiting clients; this includes sourcing recipes, take-out menus and catering options to ensure a positive client experience
• Trains Hospitality Coordinators in barista and food prep duties, including beverage creation and espresso/coffee machine maintenance
• Receives and places orders for guest meals, coordinates on-time meal delivery or pick-up, and ensures that guests’ expectations are met
• Prepares in-house breakfast and snacks and carries out barista duties
• Maintains two guest-facing kitchens: keeps counters and cupboards clean and free of clutter, maintains stock of matching flatware, dishes, and glassware, and ensures replenishment of supplies
• Coordinates with Office Manager, Porters and Account Coordinators to assist with stage/bay/lounge set-up and clean up as needed
• Coordinates daily stocking of client snack baskets, beverage refrigerators, coffee bar and break room supplies
• Administers weekly inventory of kitchen/pantry/office supply par levels with Hospitality Coordinators and places orders with vendors
• Provides front desk coverage on a rotating basis; receives and processes visitors to the studio
• Researches local food and beverage locations and supervises periodic updates of online and physical menus
• Researches, proposes, and helps distribute client and staff gifts both on and off facility
• Coordinates guest and employee events with Office Manager
• Picks up groceries, meals, and supplies and makes deliveries as needed (mileage will be compensated)
• Develops/maintains guest entertainment amenities including lounge and studio media, literature, and games
• Conducts research as assigned by the Office Manager for upcoming events, recipes, and other projects
• Assists Office Manager with coordination and tracking of Facilities projects and associated vendors/contractors
• Assists with coverage when Office Manager or Hospitality Coordinators are out 
• Assists management with projects for Client Services and Studio Operations, including but not limited to billing, job duplication, and studio maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:

• BA or BS degree preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• 2-3 years of experience with food service and/or hotel hospitality in a customer-facing role (barista experience highly desired, as well as an enthusiasm for executing basic food recipes)
• Current valid California driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation is required
• Capable of prioritizing departmental needs and managing time during busy periods
• Must be service oriented, with the ability to exhibit professionalism with high-profile clientele
• Ability to transition between kitchen-based and administrative tasks
• Able to be stand for extended periods
• Must be comfortable with repetitive hand motions
• Ability to lift/pull 35 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, and some weekends
• Must be Mac proficient and have a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and database applications
