Global Fraud Manager

We’re looking for a Global Fraud Manager to join Team Snapchat! Working cross-functionally across the company, you will be responsible for all efforts related to fraud analysis, reporting, and strategy development. The Global Fraud Manager will facilitate implementation best practices, insight into fraud patterns, opportunities for research and development of fraud prevention strategies, and optimization of existing processes. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with Customer Operations, Engineering, and our Product teams to help keep Snapchatters safe.
What you’ll do:
- Influence and promote initiatives that support our short and long-term business goals, as well as attract, develop, and grow a global team
- Collaborate effectively, lead with a vision, and provide an experienced point of view on how we can enhance and develop ways to identify and surface fraudulent behavior across our ad platform
- Identify automation opportunities to ascertain and mitigate risk
- Perform analysis on existing and newly emerging fraud patterns
- Anticipate fraud risks and trends, provide escalation management, negotiate with decision makers, and balance business needs versus technical constraints
- Deliver product and business recommendations to Snap Inc.’s senior leadership
- Staff and mentor a team of great people in a fast-paced, quick-to-market environment
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or another related area of study
- 6+ years of experience in fraud management or another related field
- Experience with SQL and/or other querying languages
Preferred qualifications:
- Proven track record of scaling operations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- A detail-oriented individual with executive maturity, business acumen, and the ability to influence and communicate within all levels of the organization
- A team player who’s willing to get their hands dirty and help where needed
- Experience analyzing data to make data-driven decisions
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work directly with highly technical engineering teams and management
- Experience working in a rapidly growing tech company
