Events Security Manager

We’re looking for an Event Security Manager to join our Global Security team!
What you’ll do:
Lead all aspects of event security for large, complicated event functions in a variety of environments, as well as, smaller business specific global events
Contribute to the protective intelligence program, specifically providing creative input into the protection of senior executives and team members at global events
Integrate event security considerations into the Snap Global Risk program, providing vital input into global event program delivery
Lead all aspects of event threat assessments, and other special projects on a wide variety of security and safety risks as advised by leadership
Maintain detailed awareness of COVID-19 legacy mitigation techniques and adapt immediately to changing international restrictions
Be responsible for the delivery and presentation of security and safety plans for Snap Global Event delivery
Build and maintain cross functional business partner relationships to support the development of the event security program
Formulate and coordinate event security guidelines, policies, standard operating procedures for global administration
Establish evaluation metrics through continuous global assessment aimed to provide recommendations for prioritization and control integration across all components of the program
Keep up with emerging risks, threats, forecasts, policies and benchmarks
Prepare and manage operating budgets, manage financial and record operational data
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge and familiarity with corporate security team processes, procedures and technology systems
Sophisticated understanding in Event Security, Risk, Incident Management, Emergency Response, at a global level
Experienced use of quality customer service oriented communication skills, and special techniques to interact formally and informally with business partners, internal and external
Experience working in the security, medical, emergency services, law enforcement, military, or customer service industry is helpful
Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends to adapt to our 24/7 operation
Ability to work comfortably in a team environment, as well as individually
Strong time management, ability to multitask, and attention to detail capabilities
Proven track record to master security and risk management computer based technologies
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
8+ years of proven experience in global event security program management, physical security or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. in a physical security related area, business administrations or similar field)
Security management qualifications such as CPP, PSP, PCI or APP
Proven understanding of open source research and intelligence gathering techniques, as it relates to risk, threat and security management
Understanding of Information Technology and Physical Security risk relationships
External relationships with recognized security risk organizations, industry and government
