Director of Operations
We’re seeking an experienced operations professional with an entrepreneurial drive who believes in challenging conventional wisdom and knows it’s possible to be flexible AND fast as a business grows.
You’ll join a nimble operations team and take ownership of 3 types of work:
- Tactical projects that iterate on and evolve our internal team operations
- Company-wide projects that deliver long-term strategic value for the business
- Project manage cross functional projects that have the highest level of importance and no tolerance for failure
This role will report directly to our COO and contribute to a wide variety of projects like internal communication frameworks, mission-critical feature releases, quarterly planning, developing thought leadership events, opening satellite offices, and much more.

You’ll start by taking ownership of communication systems like our weekly all-company team meeting and Asana training. Earn leadership’s trust by delivering great work and demonstrating high levels of alignment and you’ll quickly earn ownership for strategic projects that are central to our long range goals.

Initial Responsibilities
- Own our communication systems (built on Slack, Asana, and Google Drive) and only optimize them when needed
- Build and carry-out trainings on our internal operating frameworks
- Take a lead role in planning and opening satellite offices
- Participate in and eventually lead our quarterly planning
- Develop an effective payband framework for all departments
- Project manage initiatives critical to the business
- Improve operational workflows for contracts/vendors

Requirements
- 8+ years of professional work experience in operational roles
- You’re a do-er as well as a strategic thinker
- You work independently while still maintaining complete alignment with your manager and cross-functional teams
- You can manage large initiatives and figure out how to get from point A (an idea) to point Z (something awesome)
- You can create a long term project plan while executing on the first steps at the same time
- You have great project management skills
- MBA preferred
