We’re looking for a Director, Council to join the People Team!
What you’ll do:
Lead the facilitators and daily program throughout North and South America. Ensure integration with People team initiatives. Evaluate current capabilities, identify gaps, and prioritize building and developing the team
Seek opportunities to partner with the business to deliver meaningful opportunities
Manage and report on the performance of your organization; set stretch performance objectives for team members and hold them accountable for achieving these; inspire high levels of impact.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Program Design and Development: Act as the organizational authority on making sure the organization develops and maintains the culture, values and design it needs to reach its objectives while managing structural change.
Collaborates: Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Optimizes Work Processes: Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Develops Talent: Develops people to meet both their career goals and the organization's goals
Strong organizational Skills
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and cross-functional team skills, with demonstrated ability to partner, build strong relationships, and influence and communicate at all levels of the organization.
Excellent writing, presentation, and training skills.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience
10+ years of experience in a related role/field
3+ years of experience in a people management role
Preferred qualifications:
Masters/PHD in Counseling or Social Work
Minimum 5 years Council facilitation experience
Council Trainer certification
Experience managing multiple people in various geographical locations
Experience working in a multinational company.
A passion for Snap, Inc. and creativity
Proficiency in Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
A passion for people and desire to consistently be a positive influence on the community.
Proven ability to lead change at scale.
Flexibility to travel.
