Role Overview 

The Lead of Operations Quality & Performance will support the ongoing growth and sustainability of GOAT Group’s quality performance program. They will work directly for the Manager of Operations Quality & Performance to ensure the quality performance program is maintained, optimized, and consistently adhered to across our global warehouse network. These efforts will play a critical role in improving operational excellence and providing a world-class customer experience. The Lead will also have an immense impact on our cost of poor quality, directly impacting profitability. 

The Lead of Operations Quality & Performance will be required to work on-site every day in our local warehouse. The Lead will be required to conduct internal audits to assess adherence to GOAT Group’s standards, compile results into a data-driven report, and provide feedback to the leadership team. Based on audit findings, the Lead is expected to execute training sessions that will improve process accuracy, depending on each department’s needs. Additionally, the Lead is expected to review and analyze the weekly Quality Performance report to identify trends and areas of opportunity to discuss with each facility. 

In this role, you will:

  • Assist the Manager, Operations Quality & Performance in maintaining and optimizing the quality performance program to ensure alignment with company standards and objectives. 
  • Analyze data and quality performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within our operations 
  • Collaborate with operations teams to address areas of improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure that process failures are mitigated
  • Provide training and guidance to warehouse teams on operational processes to improve quality performance metrics and minimize cost 
  • Create meaningful and interactive training material on existing and new operational processes 
  • Conduct regular reviews and internal audits to ensure compliance with established standards and requirements 
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports and findings related to quality performance to operations managers and key stakeholders
  • Support the Manager of Operations Quality & Performance in leading and coordinating quality-related initiatives, projects, and strategic objectives 

We are looking for:

  • 2+ years of operations experience 
  • 2+ years of warehouse training experience 
  • Experience creating and executing internal audits
  • Bachelors degree preferred 
  • Must have the flexibility to be on site Monday through Friday
  • Must be willing to travel to facilities throughout the US to evaluate the facility’s process performance and conduct training when needed 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with leadership within the Operations organization 
  • Must be a proactive problem-solver and process-improver 
  • Must be able to lift and move boxes (up to 35 pounds)

The hiring range for this position is below, plus benefits (401K, paid time off, dental, medical, vision, disability, life insurance options). To determine starting pay within the hiring range, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, role/level, a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity.
