Position Type: Contingent on Contract Award.

Salary: $65k-$115k (depending on experience)

The Network Administrator II supports the Navy by administering, securing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role ensures network availability, performance, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements. 

Essential Functions:

  • Support network administration tasks including monitoring and basic configuration. 
  • Assist with troubleshooting connectivity and network performance issues. 
  • Maintain network documentation and configuration records. 
  • Support implementation of network changes and updates. 
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with network security policies. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance. 

Requirements

Required:

  • 3–5 years of experience in network administration or related field. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Experience with enterprise network technologies (e.g., routing, switching, firewalls). 
  • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs). 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Security+ depending on level). 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance. 

Desired:

  • Experience supporting DoD or Navy network environments. 
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools. 
  • Experience with secure network architectures and boundary protection systems. 
  • Active Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance preferred. 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience). 

Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
