The National Account Manager drives revenue and oversees execution across national event-based sales programs. This role serves as a key liaison between Cydcor, our clients, event and venue partners, and the independent field sales network.
The ideal candidate has experience leading sales programs in an events or experiential environment, with responsibility for client relationships, multi-market execution, event sourcing, staffing oversight, and sales performance.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Drive revenue and sales performance across national event-based sales campaigns
- Serve as a primary client partner, translating client objectives into executable event and sales plans
- Oversee event-based sales programs across multiple markets, ensuring consistent execution and achievement of client expectations
- Identify and evaluate event opportunities that align with campaign objectives and customer acquisition goals
- Coordinate event calendars, venue relationships, activation requirements, timelines, and program logistics
- Partner with the independent field sales network to communicate event expectations, schedules, program requirements, and performance goals
- Oversee staffing readiness for events, including ensuring appropriate coverage and identifying staffing gaps, without directly managing the independent field sales network
- Monitor event-level sales performance, productivity, customer acquisition, quality, and other campaign KPIs.
- Analyze event performance to determine which event types, markets, and venues generate the strongest results and recommend adjustments accordingly
- Support on-site execution for key events and launches, including troubleshooting operational and sales-performance issues
- Build strong relationships with clients, event partners, venues, internal teams, and the independent field sales network
- Provide regular reporting and business reviews to clients and leadership on event performance, pipeline, upcoming activations, and opportunities
RequirementsRequired Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in event-based sales, experiential marketing, field marketing, event program management, or related multi-market sales programs
- Demonstrated experience leading sales teams or sales programs at events
- Experience managing client relationships and translating client objectives into field execution
- Experience overseeing multi-market or regional/national event programs
- Experience coordinating or overseeing event staffing and field readiness
- Experience using sales and event performance data to evaluate results and improve future execution
- Ability to travel 60%+ and support evenings/weekends based on event schedules
- Experiential marketing agency experience
- National event staffing/program management experience
- CPG sampling, mobile tours, pop-ups, festivals, trade shows, conferences, retail activations, or similar
- Experience sourcing or evaluating event opportunities
- Experience managing national or Fortune 500 client accounts
