As a D365 CRM Lead Functional Consultant you can expect to…
- Conduct meetings/workshops with subject matter experts and other stakeholders
- Create requirements documents, fit-gap analysis, test plans, training materials, and manage product backlogs
- Be responsible for risk assessment, as-is and to-be processes, and gap fit verification
- Provide business process consulting to help define the problem, propose and create the solution
- Lead discussions with the client and project teams during the Project Design meetings
- Lead train-the-trainer sessions for the configured client solution
- Guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building, as well as help detail the project scope
- Define the design sessions and workshop agendas and meetings
- Perform advanced configuration and customization of the Dynamics 365 solution, test functionalities, create workflows and manage security roles/privileges to meet cross functional requirements
- Work with clients to develop new business processes that leverage D365 CRM best practices
- Provide advisement to client key users who are responsible for managing and delivering CRM related services to their teams
- Use proven methodologies to deliver successful projects, including industry best practices
- Ensure that there is a formal process in place for testing and issues resolution; Drive the team to resolve all issues identified during the testing and QA phase
- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Business Administration, MIS or related field
- 8+ years of experience implementing recent versions of D365 CRM
- 8+ years of consulting experience working in a client-facing role
- Deep understanding of the functional capabilities and limitations of D365 CRM
- Hands-on experience with multi-phase, enterprise-wide D365 CRM implementations
- Proficiency in requirements analysis while utilizing techniques such as User Stories, Use Cases, Prototypes, Interviews, and Storyboards
- Experience with Agile methodologies and capable of mapping User Story definitions to functional solutions, as well as defining user acceptance criteria
- Strong analytical, presentation, documentation, and inter-personal skills
- Ability to travel to client sites as necessary
