Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive LATAM Marketing Specialist who is responsible for driving product management and commercialization efforts across Latin American markets. This role leads SKU strategy, product lifecycle management, local consumer insight development, regulatory compliance coordination, and the localization of global marketing strategies to ensure relevance and success in LATAM markets.

This position serves as the key liaison between Global Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and in-market partners to ensure products are market-ready, compliant, culturally relevant, and commercially successful.

Key Responsibilities:

Local Consumer Insights

  •  Assist the Regional Marketing Manager in understanding regional marketing needs.

  • Gather and analyze consumer, and competitive insights specific to LATAM markets.

  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for product innovation, messaging, and portfolio optimization.

  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.

Localization of Global Marketing Strategies

  • Adapt global brand and marketing strategies to meet LATAM market needs, cultural nuances, and competitive dynamics.

  • Ensure messaging, positioning, and creative assets resonate with local consumers while maintaining brand consistency.

  • Collaborate with global teams to provide feedback from LATAM markets for future innovation and campaign development.

Product & SKU Management Part

  • Own end-to-end product lifecycle management for LATAM markets (launch, sustain, optimize, discontinue).

  • Develop and manage SKU portfolio strategy aligned with regional demand, pricing, and distribution needs

  • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure SKU rationalization, forecast alignment, and inventory optimization.

  • Support new product launches, including timeline coordination, readiness tracking, and go-to-market execution.

  • Ensure all localized materials adhere to Samyang’s global brand identity and standards.

  • Adapt Product assets (visuals, copy, formats) for country-specific use, as well as Sales Sheets

Compliance, Packaging, & Labeling

  • Coordinate with TQR team to ensure product compliance with local country regulations across LATAM.

  • Lead packaging and labeling adaptations, including language translation, regulatory claims, and country-specific requirements.

  • Ensure all marketing materials and product claims meet legal and regulatory standards in each market.

  • Manage artwork development and approval processes with cross-functional team.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales to support commercial planning, promotional activities, and customer presentations.

  • Provide marketing tools, product training, and launch materials to regional sales teams.

  • Track product performance and recommend corrective actions to achieve revenue and margin targets.

  • Facilitate communication between LATAM teams, HQ, and the Regional Marketing Manager.

  • Coordinate distributors, and sales teams to enable smooth campaign execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of marketing experience. Experience from CPG is strongly preferred.

  • Experience working across LATAM markets required.

  • Strong understanding or product lifecycle management and SKU strategy.

  • Experience with packaging, labeling, and regulatory coordination preferred.

  • Experience as a Marketing Specialist or Trade Marketing execution-based role.

  • Fluency in Portuguese preferred. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Web analytics, Google Ads; experience with ERP or PLM system a plus

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

  • High attention to detail, especially related to compliance and labeling.

The base salary for this position is between $27.00/hr and $33.00/hr. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
