Senior Threat Intelligence Specialist I, Protective and Geopolitical Intel
As a Senior Threat Intelligence Specialist I focused on protective security and geopolitical risks, you will support the collection, engineering, analysis, and dissemination of threat intelligence to corporate security, data center security, community engagement, and protective operations globally. You will bring familiarity of geopolitics, terrorism, instability, and transnational threat actors and deliver actionable intelligence to cross-functional stakeholders.
About the role:- Support intelligence efforts for global operations, travel security, data center security, executive protection, and market expansion initiatives.
- Monitor and assess global events including armed conflict, terrorism, political instability, sanctions, civil unrest, organized crime, regional escalation, and infrastructure disruption, translating developments into actionable business risk assessments.
- Produce strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence products including forecasts, executive briefings, travel risk assessments, crisis updates, heat maps, geospatial overlays, dashboards, and early warning alerts.
- Help build, integrate, and maintain intelligence collection pipelines using open-source intelligence, commercial intelligence feeds, geospatial data, proprietary sources, and third-party intelligence platforms.
- Continually improve intelligence workflows, alerting mechanisms, and analytical tooling.
- Partner cross-functionally with Global Security, Legal, Supply Chain, Strategy, Infrastructure, and business teams to operationalize intelligence and support risk-informed decision making.
- Conduct post-incident analysis and lessons-learned reviews following geopolitical events, operational disruptions, or security incidents.
- Contribute to best practices, technical standards, and scalable processes for geopolitical and operational threat intelligence.
- Support relationships with external intelligence vendors, industry peers, academic institutions, and government or law enforcement partners, where appropriate.
- Share domain knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement of the team.
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in threat intelligence, geopolitical risk analysis, physical security, or related domain.
- Strong working knowledge of the threat intelligence lifecycle: requirements development, collection, processing, analysis, production, dissemination, feedback.
- Good knowledge of geopolitical risk, state instability, terrorism, organized crime, and regional dynamics.
- Experience operationalizing intelligence in support of security operations (travel, crisis, executive protection, facility security).
- Excellent communication skills: ability to brief, distill complex scenarios into actionable recommendations, write polished reports.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools and large language models to accelerate research, analysis, drafting, and workflow automation.
- Strong judgment, intellectual autonomy, and ability to manage ambiguous, fast-evolving environments.
- Willingness to travel (regional or international) when required to support field operations or site assessments.
- Experience supporting critical infrastructure, hyperscale environments, technology companies, or global corporate security programs.
- Experience with intelligence automation, APIs, scripting, or data engineering using Python, SQL, or related technologies.
- Experience supporting market entry assessments, protective intelligence, or global crisis management programs.
- Certifications such as Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA), GIAC (GISP, GCTI), or relevant government/intel community credentials.
- Experience with vendor management and intelligence partnerships.

The base salary range for this role is $134,000 to $179,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
