This role will support the development and execution of national marketing initiatives, product launches, campaign activations, and cross-functional go-to-market programs that build the brand and drive revenue.

This person will play a key role in bringing marketing strategy to life across digital, social, retail, field, and partnership channels. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on — someone who can think big, manage multiple priorities, collaborate cross-functionally, and execute quickly in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Consumer Marketing

  • Help develop and execute annual and seasonal brand marketing plans aligned with company growth goals and brand priorities
  • Support integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, experiential, retail, and partnership channels
  • Partner with internal and external creative teams to develop compelling campaign assets, messaging, and content that feel authentic to the Happy Dad brand
  • Ensure brand consistency across marketing touchpoints, activations, and consumer communications

Product Launches & Go-to-Market

  • Build launch timelines, marketing calendars, messaging frameworks, and activation plans in partnership with Sales, Trade Marketing, Creative, and Operations
  • Help create sell-in support materials and launch toolkits for internal teams, distributors, and retail partners
  • Coordinate marketing execution across channels to ensure launches are simple, timely, and impactful

Campaign Execution & Project Management

  • Own day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives from concept through launch, including timelines, deliverables, approvals, and budget tracking
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping teams aligned and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Work closely with agency and vendor partners to execute campaigns, content, events, and promotions at a high level
  • Identify ways to improve process, simplify execution, and help the team move faster without sacrificing quality

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Field Marketing, Creative, Social, Finance, and Operations to ensure marketing plans are executable and aligned with business priorities
  • Act as a connector across teams, helping translate brand strategy into clear plans that work in the real world

Performance Tracking & Insights

  • Monitor campaign performance, key brand metrics, and activation results to evaluate effectiveness and inform future decisions
  • Help track marketing budgets, ROI, and program performance against business goals
  • Use data, consumer feedback, and field insights to refine programs and improve impact over time

Qualifications

  • 6–9+ years of experience in brand marketing, consumer marketing, integrated marketing, or related roles
  • Experience in CPG, beverage, alcohol, lifestyle, entertainment, or consumer brand environments strongly preferred
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience supporting integrated campaigns, product launches, and cross-functional marketing initiatives
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively across levels and functions
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing strategy with execution
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
