Job Overview:
The Developer Marketing Manager will lead the creation and execution of developer-focused marketing strategies crafted to position Arm as a developer-centric company, drive technical engagement and increase developer membership growth. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, particularly in semiconductors, and deep experience in one or more of our core focus areas: IoT, Automotive, Cloud, or Edge devices like mobile and laptops/desktops.
Responsibilities:
  • Developer Marketing Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive marketing plans aimed at creating awareness, promoting membership growth, and driving engagement with Arm developer tools and ecosystem.
  • Technical Content Creation: Leverage your hands-on development or engineering experience to develop and coordinate the creation of high-quality, technically sound content (e.g., blog posts, tutorials, case studies) that speaks directly to the needs of developers in IoT, Auto, Cloud, and Edge devices sectors.
  • Event Strategy & Participation: Collaborate with our internal events team and external partners to plan and attend technical events, conferences, and webinars.
  • Developer Ecosystem Growth: Work closely with the Developer Ecosystem team to promote our developer solutions, seamlessly message our value propositions, and identify channels to increase engagement and Dev Program membership.
  • Performance Metrics & Optimization: Establish key performance metrics to measure the efficiency of developer marketing efforts.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner with product marketing, engineering, and developer relations teams to ensure cohesive and effective communication of our developer-focused initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of proven experience in developer marketing, technical marketing, or a related role within the semiconductor or tech industry.
  • Technical expertise in AI, cloud or mobile with hands-on development or engineering experience.
  • Deep familiarity with semiconductors and their role in the developer ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to create and complete developer marketing plans that drive engagement, awareness, and membership growth.
  • Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into compelling content for developers.
  • Experience driving engagement at developer events, conferences, and community engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product teams, marketing teams, and developer relations.
  • Passionate about fostering a strong developer community and ecosystem!

  • Understanding or the Arm architecture, product portfolio, and ecosystem
  • Ability to brainstorm and conceptualize developer solutions and tooling to inform the Arm software roadmap
