Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive, organized, and social-media-savvy Influencer Marketing Intern to join the YAMI Korean Marketing team.
This role will primarily support the team with Korean influencer/KOL sourcing, agency communication, creator coordination, and campaign execution across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
You will work closely with the Korean Marketing team to identify potential creators, communicate with Korean influencer agencies, coordinate campaign details, and follow up on content deliverables. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in influencer marketing, Korean social media trends, and creator partnerships to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Influencer / KOL Research & Sourcing
- Research and identify Korean influencers, KOLs, KOCs, and content creators across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant social platforms.
- Build and maintain creator shortlists based on campaign requirements, audience demographics, engagement, content style, and brand fit.
- Assist the Korean Marketing team with evaluating potential creators for upcoming campaigns.
- Research emerging Korean creators and social media trends to continuously expand YAMI's influencer network.
- Maintain an organized database of potential and existing influencer partners.
2. Korean Agency Communication & Coordination
- Communicate with Korean influencer and marketing agencies regarding potential creator partnerships.
- Request creator recommendations, profiles, rates, availability, audience information, and other campaign-related details.
- Follow up with agencies on pending requests, negotiations, campaign schedules, and deliverables.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with agency partners throughout the collaboration process.
- Keep internal team members updated on agency responses and campaign progress.
3. Influencer Campaign Coordination
- Support the team in coordinating influencer campaigns from initial outreach through content publication.
- Communicate campaign requirements, product information, timelines, content guidelines, and deliverables to creators and agency partners.
- Track product shipment, content deadlines, posting schedules, and outstanding action items.
- Follow up proactively with creators and agencies to help ensure campaigns remain on schedule.
- Coordinate internally when approvals, additional information, or campaign adjustments are required.
4. Content Review & Campaign Follow-Up
- Review influencer content before posting to ensure basic alignment with campaign guidelines, key messages, and YAMI branding.
- Organize creator drafts and support the internal review and approval process.
- Communicate feedback and revision requests clearly to creators or agency partners.
- Track published content and collect campaign links, screenshots, and relevant campaign information.
- Help ensure campaign assets and records are properly stored for future reference.
5. Campaign Tracking & Reporting Support
- Maintain campaign tracking sheets, creator lists, outreach records, and posting schedules using Google Sheets or Excel.
- Track basic influencer campaign metrics such as views, engagement, clicks, and other available performance indicators.
- Assist the team with organizing campaign results and identifying high-performing creators.
- Support monthly or campaign-level reporting by collecting and organizing relevant data.
- Help document key learnings that can be applied to future influencer campaigns.
6. Korean Market & Social Media Research
- Stay up to date with Korean social media trends, creators, popular content formats, and emerging platforms.
- Monitor competitor influencer campaigns and creator partnerships.
- Share relevant trends, creator opportunities, and campaign ideas with the Korean Marketing team.
- Support additional Korean community or social media research as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Media, or a related field.
Fluency in Korean and English is required, as this role involves regular communication with Korean creators and agencies.
Strong interest in influencer marketing, social media, Korean culture, and Korean consumer trends.
Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and current social media trends.
Strong written communication and follow-up skills.
Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple creators, agency conversations, deadlines, and campaign details simultaneously.
Comfortable using Google Sheets, Excel, Google Drive, and other basic collaboration tools.
Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate campaign and creator records.
Proactive, responsible, and comfortable following up with external partners.
Can-do attitude and willingness to support different marketing projects as business needs evolve.
