At Wealth Enhancement Group (WEG), we believe that first impressions matter—and nowhere is that more true than when welcoming new advisor teams into our organization. The Marketing Manager, Integrations plays a critical role in leading the marketing onboarding process from signed Letter of Intent through post-close, managing onboarding strategy, execution, and communication that drive early engagement and long-term growth. This position oversees the M&A Marketing team, including two onboarding project managers, and partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that marketing integration supports advisor team success. This leader develops scalable onboarding frameworks, manages integration budgets, and implements marketing assessments that guide pre-close planning and post-close acceleration. The leader is also involved in other team transitions to support set-up as needed, for example with newly created or renamed internal teams.
This is a fully remote position.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $125,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions
Leadership & Oversight of M&A Marketing Team
Lead and manage the M&A Marketing Team to deliver a cohesive and scalable onboarding experience
Oversee day-to-day activities of two project managers responsible for onboarding execution
Train and mentor onboarding team members on WEG onboarding processes, including the use of systems like, Wrike, FMG Suite, Salesforce, and DealRoom
Collaborate with leadership to align integration budgets with firm priorities and provide recommendations based on firm size, scope, and goals
Growth-Focused Onboarding Leadership
Serve as the marketing onboarding lead for newly acquired advisor teams from signed LOI through 90 days post-close
Collaborate with Integration Managers and Advisor Services to scope onboarding needs and develop tailored plans
Execute key onboarding milestones including:
Rebranding, naming, and visual identity
Advisor bios, headshots, and web presence
Office promotional materials and branded startup kits
Internal team introductions and activation campaigns
Training on the Advisor Marketing Platform (FMG Suite)
Ensure all marketing materials and access to tools/collateral are in place to support client communication during and after transition
Relationship & Change Management
Serve as a primary ambassador and point of contact for newly acquired firms from LOI through post-close in marketing
Build strong partnerships with incoming advisor teams to understand their historical processes, client experiences and align them to WEG’s standards
Facilitate subject matter expert training in collaboration with Advisor Marketing and other departments
Report out on new teams, keeping our department and broader marketing aware of any watch outs or exceptions in our process.
Coordinate adoption checkpoints and retraining touchpoints as needed to support onboarding success
Pre-Close Marketing Assessment & Scorecard Development
Create and manage the “Marketing Scorecard” for use during due diligence, assessing:
Previous marketing strategies, spend, and results
Client engagement and growth opportunities
Risks, gaps, and immediate activation potential
Incorporate findings into internal communications to guide onboarding and resource planning
Evaluate vendor partnerships used by acquired teams and align them with WEG standards
Project Management & Integration Planning
Develop and maintain project timelines across systems like Wrike and Microsoft Loop
Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on onboarding progress, risks, and readiness
Anticipate issues and proactively resolve bottlenecks across the marketing integration process
Manage transition planning for solo advisors, spin-offs, and office launches, ensuring accurate data updates across all systems
Cross-Functional Handoff to Regional Marketing & Paid Marketing Programs
Collaborate with Regional Marketing Specialists (RMS) beginning two months post-close for co-managed onboarding
Ensure foundational marketing elements are completed and documented for seamless handoff at 90 days
Define and operationalize the handoff process into WEG’s centralized Premium + Marketing offering for select teams
Process Improvement & Operational Innovation
Identify and implement strategies to reduce friction and accelerate marketing readiness
Standardize onboarding milestones, communication cadences, and resource kits
Track KPIs including, onboarding timelines, advisor satisfaction, and ROI
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine project plans and initiate new procedures where appropriate
Education / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
7+ years of experience in marketing, M&A integration, or project/relationship management
Background in financial services or advisor marketing strongly preferred
Experience with marketing tools and platforms, including DealRoom, FMG Suite, and Wrike
Strong vendor management and marketing operations experience
Strong presentation skills to train and persuade
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, navigate complex integrations, and communicate with influence
AI-savvy mindset and comfort with emerging tools to increase team efficiency and automate repeatable work
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Demonstrated problem-solving for both immediate and long-term time horizons
Experience with Salesforce or CRM systems preferred
Change management or training program development preferred
Advanced Excel, project workflow, and documentation skills preferred
WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as a manager level is $95,300.00 to $152,500.00. However, the base salary range bolded above ($100,000.00 to $125,000.00) is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
